If Management is about nothing else, it is about communication. The modern manager has to get more done with less resource, to a higher standard in less time. Today’s manager has to deal with dizzying levels of ambiguity and must juggle many tasks and priorities. To get all of this done through the efforts of others requires hugely competent skills in Communication - this is our subject on this workshop. This is a practical day filled with exercises, games and discussion which will give you skills to handle difficult and tricky situations and give you more choice in the way you communicate with others.
Topics covered on this workshop typically include;
* Understanding how communications work * Gaining active listening and responding skills * Seeing things from other points of view * Managing your assumption more effectively * KNow yourself - Understanding your own strengths * How others may see you * Looking at body language * The role of gestures and eye movements in Human Communications * Increasing confidence * Difficult people or situations
Delegates will work on their own, in pairs and also in small teams. They will learn to give and receive feedback and understand what is going on, not only in the minds of co-workers but also to examine their own mind-sets and motivations too. Finally, we can guarantee that they will have fun!
